What a fabulous wedding....Jason and Shona were married beneath the romantic old trees at Old Orchard Park in Port Moody and later moved into the Old Orchard Hall for the reception.
Since Shona is from the Queen Charlotte Islands the ocean holds a special place for her, reminding her of home. It was imperative that we walked down to the beach to get some beautiful shots of Jason and his new bride. We were lucky the tide was still out enough to catch a few quick ones but when the groomsmen wanted to walk a little further along the beach to a rocky point for their shots ~ well, let's just say the tide came in a little more than we bargained for and we almost had to swim back to the girls!!
The details were amazing with sea shells and vintage vases on the tables, great food and lots of funny, heartfelt speeches.....even the vows included some mention of hockey playoff games:)
Although, the night was full of fun and laughter ~ there was always an intimate glance, smile or kiss between Jason & Shona their love filled the room, and everyone couldn't help but feel it.
Thank you so much for granting me this great honour of capturing your love and memories on your wedding day. It was such a blessing...
Handmade soap was on every table.
pure elation on this grooms face.........to watch his bride walking down the isle!
Mr & Mrs!
