Shaun & Stephanie | Wedding

A beautiful late summer wedding, Shaun and Stephanie were blessed with amazing weather, a gorgeous venue and the love of family and friends. I first met this fabulous couple when I came to their home to shoot their engagement session.  We walked around after the shoot and spoke about how the grounds would be transformed for the wedding day. They were going to be married on the dock by the pond with lights strung in the trees and tents set up on the field. Steph was so excited about all the details and I got a sneak peek of the brides maids dresses on her phone.

When I arrived the day of the wedding, there was lots of hustle and bustle. Heather Oliver from Brae Designs was working her magic on all of the decor...everything looked amazing! I found Stephanie on her front deck talking with a friend, taking a moment before she went in to start her hair and make-up. She flashed her brilliant smile and came over to give me a hug ~ she was ready to get started. The girls were having too much fun getting ready it was such a great relaxed atmosphere.

I went over to the main house to catch up with Shaun and his groomsmen / bestwoman, and they were fairly laid back enjoying what the day had to offer. Everything was going as planned.....and everyone was having a great time doing it.

When Steph stepped out to start her walk down the isle she literally took everyone's breath away - STUNNING -

With a touching ceremony some fun formal pictures and we were off to the reception tents. Dinner was catered by the most delicious Smoke and Bones BBQ, the ribs and cornbread were to die for!

So many touching speeches with emotions running high for this tight knit group. The outpouring of love just kept coming. To end an already fabulous evening among the tiki torches in the garden, under the starlit sky ~ Shaun serenaded his new wife. An amazing song he wrote about the night he proposed and "she said yes"!

I tell you all over and over again how honoured I am to be a part of a couples life changing event. To get a glimpse into what their story is, to freeze these once in a lifetime moments.....it truly is a blessing.

So Thankyou, Thankyou Steph and Shaun for letting me be a part of your amazing day! My wish is everytime you look at the photos of your wedding day...it reminds you of the love that surrounds you, not only with each other, but with all of the special people in your lives that came out to cherish and celebrate your love!
