Tutus and Cowboy Boots.

I have been looking for the perfect Tutu to add to my photography props. I have seen so many cute photo shoots where Tutus were used and I loved it. The only problem was they are usually custom made and either cost a small forturne or had to be shipped which added to a price that may have been reasonable to start with. Then I met Candice from "Inspired by Tae" at the Cloverdale Kidswap last weekend where we both had our vendor tables set up. I was in heaven, this is exactly what I had been looking for and she is local, right here in Langely. She has a variety of colors to choose from and her prices very reasonable! I can so much fun with these tutus for photo sessions and be as creative as my client wants. Add wings and she's a fairy, add pink cowboy boots and she's an urban ballerina :) I will be sure to be adding more colors and sizes to my ever growing prop collection.

Vayla & Graham | Maternity; Sneak Peek | Delta, B.C.

My very good friends Vayla & Graham are about to have their second baby. At 36 weeks pregnant, wow, she looks amazing! They came over to have some maternity photos done with their three year old daughter Marley. Here are the sneak peek photos, I am having so much fun editing these. The rest are coming soon!

I'm Back!

Wow! It's so easy to have time fly past if you're not careful. We had a wonderful 2 weeks off on our summer vacation. We have been back for a week and I have not even had a free minute to give my little blog some love. Things start to get hectic around here with the anticipation of going back to school, finding all the right school clothes and supplies. Back to school lunches planning and weeknight family dinners squeezed in around homework, hockey, figure skating and field lacrosse. Having three kids and both my husband and I working full-time takes alot of fine tuning when it comes to schedules! I love the fall though, the fresh start to the new school year and the sunny warm days turning colorful & brisk. I love to light my apple cinnamon scented candles, have yummy comfort food casseroles in the oven, and fresh baked after school snacks for my kids when they come through the door talking a mile a minute about thier day. New friends, new teachers, new year. With the sun setting earlier and the light just so heavenly I took my daughter and a couple of cool chairs to a field glowing with golden evening sun. Have a look at what just the right sweet light can do for photography.
