White Rock Wedding | Tamara + Jeremy

I walked into the local Starbucks, went up to the counter and ordered my fave....Caramel Macchiato. Armed with my coffee and my folder full of info, I was ready to meet a perspective new bride.....Tamara. She was sitting by the window struggling with her laptop and looked up at me with a shy smile "Hi, are you Nikki?" Hours later, all her questions answered, images of brides, grooms and wedding parties poured over, discussions of color, flowers and timelines.....our coffee long gone, I walked out with a smile on my face. This was going to be a great wedding!

Calm, quiet and in control Tamara walks in from the local salon. Hair and make-up done, veil attached, ready for the dress. She has all her girls around her from sisters to close friends and nieces for flower girls. Among the hustle she just quietly smiles and gives me a hug. We are ready to get this wedding going!

At the church I meet the groom for the first time. I immediately realize these two are made for each other. Jeremy just as calm and quiet and with the same shy smile greets me. Standing at the front of the church with his hands clasped in front smiling and nodding at everyone filing in with a calm confidence......waiting.....for his bride to come down that aisle.

Everything about these two is warm and loving. Always the polite gentleman, Jeremy never forgot to hold Tamara's hand to help up and down stairs and through the sand on the beach. It was such an honor to be a part of your special day, thank you for allowing me to capture the essence of you. May your journey in life continue to be fabulous!

We headed down to White Rock Pier to take the formal photos. We were all praying for the rain to hold off, but we felt the first raindrop as we set foot out of the limo! We worked as quickly as we could to get as many formal shots done before it got too wet. We pulled out the umbrellas and used any undercover area we could to stay dry.
The reception was held at Murrayville Hall in Langely. So quaint and beautifully decorated. Twinkling Christmas trees and white lights strung across the ceiling. This was a venue that suited Tamara & Jeremy perfectly. The theme of pink roses was throughout, on the tables and on the gorgeous cake.
